Mau P joins halfway through his Wednesday residency at Pacha: the fifth week of a series running from August 5 to October 7. The Dutchman carries the weight of four tracks that have defined recent mainstream house — "Drugs From Amsterdam", "Tesla", "Like I Like It" and his viral rework of "The Less I Know The Better". He’s not an album artist nor one with a long career: he’s a producer of powerful singles who has quickly climbed to superclub headliner status. The Pacha dancefloor moves in stages. It starts packed from opening, ramps up energy between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM, and aims for a peak after 4:00 AM. High-octane house, stadium vocals, calculated drops.
