Music On is a techno night at Pacha Ibiza in Marina Botafoch. Marco Carola has been building a reputation in minimal techno for over two decades. His residency at Pacha has become a fixture of Ibiza’s Fridays: seven-hour sets, total control of the tempo, crowds arriving late and staying until closing. No gimmicks. Just dancefloor, volume and patience to let the groove take hold. The format is long by design. Carola doesn’t play random sets: he builds arcs that start in functional tech house and end in late-night techno. Pacha’s main room, with its original 19th-century beam ceiling, acts as a natural resonator for sets that don’t chase instant drops but instead rely on gradual build-up. It’s music for those who know how to wait. This date falls at the tail end of the season, when Ibiza nights are already warm but mass tourism has thinned out.
