TACONEO WEEK 4 is a night of flamenco and latin at Eden Ibiza in San Antonio. Fourth installment of the weekly series that brings flamenco onto the club floor. LLORI, BOB TOSH, MAITI MERLINO and ANYONE handle the blend of tradition and electronics: handclaps, cajón and cut voice with beats rising in intensity. The format is rare in Ibiza; here it works because Eden lets less common genres take their space without forcing an adjustment to house or techno. Dancefloor packed after midnight, energy rising in waves. Salsa and latin find in flamenco a point of tension that San Antonio’s crowd, more relaxed than Playa d’en Bossa’s, knows how to read.
