For fifteen years, Major Lazer has blended dancehall, moombahton and electronic pop into a collective show format. The current lineup—Diplo, Walshy Fire and Ape Drums—treats the project as a mobile sound system rather than a traditional DJ act. They have collaborated with artists like Beyoncé, Justin Bieber and Bad Bunny, and their sets in superclubs often include their own remixes and unreleased material. At BCM, the packed dancefloor moves in stages: the ground floor absorbs the initial impact, upper rooms handle density and the late-night energy peaks in the finale. The Major Lazer format fits this layout: there are pauses, collective climaxes and a curve that builds toward a peak around 03:00. The club’s production—three floors, multiple bars, unusual scale in Mallorca—gives the set room to breathe without losing tension.
