For a decade, Purple Disco Machine has been translating 70s disco into contemporary house. Their sound —funk, bright synthesizers, soul vocals— has amassed over one billion five hundred million streams and a Grammy. At Pure Pacha, this repertoire works on a dancefloor that already knows the format: the residency has run for twenty years in this club, and its formula of effortless elegant house keeps Thursday nights packed.
The session moves between melodic house and disco-house, with sets that build momentum until dawn. Pacha keeps both rooms open: the main room under the cherries, and the second with a more intimate sound. At six, the closing comes when the dancefloor is still full.
