SUN DOWN is a tech house session at Discoteca Amok Mallorca in Palma. Gerard Aledo takes the booth for this edition of Monday’s ritual. The Mallorcan DJ has built his reputation on the island with sets that prioritize groove over immediate impact. The format is an early evening session on the terrace of the large complex: tech house that grows denser as the light fades, an audience arriving straight from the beach and staying for the nighttime transition. Unlike the weekend nights at Amok, here the closing time is before midnight, but the energy is packed into those four hours of shifting light. This date falls in mid-August, with the Pool Club open and the terrace as the pre-party meeting point before the indoor room. Door opens at 19:30, closes at 23:45. Dress code: elegant.
