B-DAY Kiko Navarro is a house night at Discoteca Amok Mallorca in Palma. Kiko Navarro has been spinning records for three decades, starting in the nineties and including residencies at Space Ibiza and Pachá. His own label, Afroterraneo, and his work as a producer have kept him in the orbit of African-rooted house and disco. In Mallorca, he is a recognized figure: he has regularly played the local circuit and knows the island’s crowd. The session moves between the afro-house that gave him international fame and turns toward classic house and floor-fillers. At Amok, the format is big: packed dancefloor, hours that stretch out, and energy that climbs in waves. At seven in the evening the club is still in warm-up mode; by eleven the main room and terrace are in full swing. This date marks the DJ’s birthday, which usually means a set that is both more personal and longer than usual. Doors 7:00 PM, last entry 11:45 PM. Casual dress code. Age +18.
