S'embat

S'embat is a sunset session at AMOK in Palma. S'embat curates its own night. The project of the Mallorcan DJ has become a local reference on the island, with previous residencies that have shaped its sound between melodic house and African rhythms. He’s not a passing guest: he programs, selects and performs. The AMOK dancefloor works differently at closing time. At 6:30 PM the open-air terrace catches the low summer light, the artificial lake mirrors the sky and the set builds from mid-tempos toward the night’s peak. Afro-house with live percussion, soul vocals and bass that gains weight as the sun sets. It’s not late night: it’s late that stretches on, a crowd arriving straight from the beach or work, energy rising in waves without haste. This date falls in the heart of August, peak intensity month in AMOK’s calendar. Monday is the weekly opening night for the large complex, which then keeps the weekend format until dawn. Door 6:30 PM, close 11:45 PM. No strict dress code. Age +18.
