S'embat

S'embat is an afternoon-to-evening afro-house session at AMOK in Palma. S'embat has been moving between tribal house and African rhythms for years. His residency in Ibiza and sets in top clubs have given him a solid foundation: he knows when a dancefloor is still warming up and when to push toward the finale. He’s not a huge name on the lineup, but he’s one of those DJs the people in the know seek out when they want something more than the obvious. AMOK is running in an unusual format here: it opens at 18:30, when the big complex is usually closed. The indoor room and terrace operate under fading late-afternoon light, while the artificial lake of the new Pool Club stays dark. S'embat has three hours to build the set: he starts with relaxed house, climbs into afro-house with strong percussion, and closes with re-edited hits that work at any time. This session is part of AMOK’s push to open summer Mondays with specific programming, far from the weekend rush. Door opens 18:30, closes 23:45. Dress code relaxed. Age +18.
