Carlos founded Umami in 2017 with a specific idea: that dinner and the club should not be two separate moments but a single continuous experience. Asian Fusion, club, and cocktails coexist here; house, minimal, and electronic are the genres that play when the kitchen closes. Pornbugs and EUGEN represent the underground sound line that defines the venue, far removed from the island's superclub circuit.

The core of the space is the outdoor terrace: an open-air dance floor surrounded by low tables and a cocktail bar, with an Asian-inspired design, dim lighting, and tropical vegetation that creates its own visual microclimate. The smaller interior room offers acoustic refuge when the terrace is at full capacity or when the wind from the nearby airport makes the exterior difficult. There are no multiple floors or themed rooms: the commitment is to a single, well-executed hybrid space.

To get there from the center of Ibiza Town is about a 10-minute taxi ride along the Sant Jordi road.
