It is located on Camí Haya, next to Playa Niu Blau, a quiet cove surrounded by pine trees to the north of central Santa Eulària des Riu. It is the same site that was home to Bora Bora for decades and later Pura Vida, right on the sand with Formentera in the background.
In the 2026 season, it is open approximately from Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 23:00, and Monday and Tuesday until 19:00. Food service is available at midday and, seasonally, dinner at sunset. Outside of summer, it reduces days and hours, so it is best to confirm before going.
There is no minimum age: it is a family-friendly beach club-restaurant, not a nightclub. Children are welcome to eat and enjoy the beach area, and the daytime atmosphere is relaxed and suitable for all ages.
Beach casual, with no strict dress code. Swimwear and a pareo are perfect for the sunbed area; for dining at a table, smart beachwear is sufficient. It is not a formal venue and does not require evening dress.
Santa Marta has free entry: the usual practice is to book a restaurant table, sunbed or Balinese bed directly with the venue. For special events or dinners with limited capacity, reservations and tickets can be managed at partyisla.com when available.
It is about five minutes from central Santa Eulària and a taxi costs just a few euros; it is also very close from Es Canar. From Ibiza city it is about 20 minutes by car or taxi. There is parking next to Playa Niu Blau, making it easy to arrive independently.
Yes. The venue is the evolution of the historic 1980s Bora Bora, which later became Pura Vida and now operates as Santa Marta. The name changed and the management passed to the founding family, but the concept of a Mediterranean beach bar facing Niu Blau remains.
Yes. Its main offering is gastronomic: Mediterranean cuisine with fresh fish and rice dishes, as well as beach service with sun loungers and Balinese beds. The best experience is to eat or dine by the sea and stay to watch the sunset; in season it is best to book.
