Nakar Rooftop Bar Palma

Palma, Mallorca

FAQ

On the ninth floor of the Nakar Hotel, Avenida Jaume III, 21, 07012 Palma de Mallorca — right in the heart of Palma's commercial center, 8 minutes on foot from Plaça Major and 15 minutes from the port. Access to the rooftop is through the hotel lobby; the elevators go directly to the eighth (CUIT) and ninth (rooftop) floors.

The rooftop is open to the public from 19:30 daily during the season (during the day it is reserved for hotel guests). In May, the DJ program runs from Thursday to Saturday between 19:00 and 00:00; in peak summer, the NakarSounds lineup operates daily from 19:30 to 00:00. The CUIT restaurant (eighth floor) is open Monday to Saturday in two services: 13:00-16:00 and 19:00-23:00.

There is no formal minimum age — the rooftop has an adult atmosphere but is not a club. Minors accompanied by parents are allowed during public hours with no explicit restriction; during the day, the pool is only available to hotel guests. CUIT (restaurant) is a quiet dining space suitable for all ages.

Smart casual, no strict code. Swimwear and sarongs are not accepted at the bar during public hours; dresses, shirts, or pants with a t-shirt work. For CUIT at dinner, a slightly more polished look fits better with Calent's cuisine — no jacket or tie required. Clean sneakers are fine; flip-flops are not.

Access to the rooftop bar is free from 19:30 onwards with no ticket required. For a reserved table or sofa, it's best to contact the hotel directly at nakarhotel.com. CUIT requires a reservation for either service — highly recommended in July and August. partyisla.com does not handle table reservations, only ticketing for special parties/events if the rooftop hosts any with ticketing.

On foot: 8 minutes from Plaça Major (west via Sant Miquel to Jaume III), 15 minutes from the port (Passeig Marítim). By EMT bus: several lines pass through Avenida Jaume III and Antoni Maura; line 1 (airport) has a nearby stop. Public underground parking at Parc de la Mar and Plaça Major, 5-8 minutes on foot — Jaume III itself has restricted access. Taxi to the center costs 6-10 EUR.

Smooth lounge, deep house, vintage disco, and tropical selections for sunset — in a continuous format, not a superclub. The resident lineup NakarSounds rotates local and out-of-island DJs. It's not a dance floor: the rooftop is for cocktail lounging with a view, not for dancing. The music serves as a soundtrack for sunset and the early night.

Yes. A 12-meter infinity pool on the ninth floor with views of the cathedral and the bay. During the day (10:00-19:00), it is reserved for hotel guests —Nakar is a 4-star superior hotel and the pool is exclusive to guests—. From 19:30 onwards, when the rooftop opens to the public, the pool serves a decorative and visual backdrop function, not for general swimming.
