About

Luna Palma is a multi-zone nightclub at Plaça Vapor 20, atop the Es Jonquet windmill hill in Palma, with terrace views over the port. The weekend programming blends house, techno, commercial sessions and Latin nights. The building is part of the area declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 2009 and one of the oldest venues in central Palma. The crowd comes from the city center and Santa Catalina.

The Plaça Vapor space has operated under different names for decades — Clan, Art Decó, Cerebro, If, Griffins and La Demence appear among the venues documented by Mallorcadiario and Última Hora. The area is known as Es Jonquet’s windmill hill, declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 2009 (Mallorca Magazin, 2020). King Felipe VI is recorded in local guides (Seemallorca, ABC-Mallorca, Evendo) as visiting the site while still a young prince. The sound system is professional, though no public brand is advertised.

From 2026, weekend programming mixes R33 on Fridays (techno), gay and electronic music Saturdays, plus the Lunatics series — listed at palmaeventss.com with May dates — and occasional late-afternoon sessions. Nights alternate resident DJs and guest artists across the main floor, the auditorium with port views and the terrace.

The venue is at Plaça Vapor 20, Ponent (Palma), a ten-minute walk from Paseo Marítimo and fifteen from Lonja’s center. Regular hours Friday and Saturday 23:30–06:00, with occasional afternoon sessions. Minimum age 18. Dress code smart-casual. Arrive before 01:00 to secure a spot on the port-view terrace, the venue’s highlight. If the night continues after closing and you’re after underground techno, Overclub — Palma’s new downtown techno room since December 2025 — runs until dawn in a more intimate setting. To get there, taxi 8–12 € from central Palma, EMT bus line 1 to Plaça del Vapor stop, or walk if coming from Santa Catalina or Paseo Marítimo.

Typically Fridays and Saturdays from 23:30 to 06:00, with afternoon (late-night) sessions on occasional weekends depending on the lineup. Closed Monday to Thursday. Check the updated calendar at lunapalma.es or partyisla.com when events are published.

18 years old, in line with Balearic standard regulations for nightclubs. A valid photo ID (passport, DNI, or EU national ID) must be presented. Photocopies or mobile photos are not accepted.

Smart-casual attire. Flip-flops, tracksuits, and sportswear are prohibited. Nights with guest DJs tend to be more stylish; afternoon sessions allow for more casual clothing. No large backpacks on the dance floor.

From Palma city center, a taxi costs €8-12 in five minutes. A 15-minute walk from Lonja via Paseo Marítimo. EMT bus line 1 to Plaça del Vapor stop. From Magaluf, a taxi costs €25-30 in 25 minutes. Limited surface parking — taxi is recommended.

Multiple areas within the same venue: main dance floor with professional sound system, auditorium with harbor views, smokers' terrace with the same view, and a more relaxed bar area. Total capacity is around 500 people according to independent sector directories.

House and techno as the main genres — R33 on Fridays is the fixed techno night. Saturdays alternate between electronic music and gay-friendly nights. The Lunatics series appears in the May calendar.
