La Sal Port de Sóller
FAQ
At Carrer de la Marina 36, 07108 Port de Sóller — on the marina promenade of the marina, facing the moorings. It is the upper area of the port, not the commercial transit zone. Walkable from any point along the port promenade and from the historic tram stop that connects to Sóller village.
Open Wednesday to Monday in continuous hours from 12:00 to 22:30; closed every Tuesday. The kitchen operates throughout the entire time slot without a mid-afternoon break, making it convenient for late lunches, coffee-snacks, and early dinners. In peak season (June-September), the outdoor tables by the port fill up quickly; reservations are recommended.
No minimum age — it is a café-tapas bar with a cocktail counter, not a club. Children are welcome at any time; the daytime atmosphere is relaxed marina-style, and minors can have soft drinks and coffee like in any other restaurant. For groups with babies, it is advisable to notify when making a reservation.
No dress code. The vibe is casual marina style — from swimsuit with a T-shirt after a dip at Repic beach, to dresses or trousers with a T-shirt for afternoon-evening. No smart casual required or shoe restrictions; common sense is all that’s needed.
Direct reservations at la-sal.com or by phone at +34 971 57 66 62. partyisla.com does not handle restaurant reservations — we are an entry platform for clubs and events in Mallorca and Ibiza. For large groups and private events, it is advisable to confirm availability by phone several days in advance, especially during peak season.
By train+tram: Soller train from Palma’s Intermodal Station to Soller village, then transfer to the historic 1913 tram covering the 5 km to the port in 20 minutes (total journey approx. one hour). By car via Ma-11 with the Sóller tunnel from Palma (40 minutes); paid parking along the port edges. TIB bus 211 Palma-Soller-Port de Sóller. Taxi from Palma city center 50-60 EUR; from the airport 60-70 EUR.
Mediterranean cuisine with Mesoamerican influences. The menu blends traditional Mallorcan tapas (croquettes, ham, goat cheese) with Mexican and Central American-inspired dishes — ceviches, tacos, tostadas — and sweet desserts. The cocktail bar offers classics and signature creations featuring mezcal and tequila. Specialty coffee for the morning-afternoon slot.
There is no La Sal in Porto Portals. La Sal is located in Port de Sóller (north of Mallorca, Serra de Tramuntana), not in the marina of Portals Nous (southwest, Calvià). They are two ports on opposite sides of the island, about 50 kilometers apart. This page refers to the real location in Sóller; any reference to 'La Sal Porto Portals' is a cataloging error.
