Es Paradis

A dance floor that floods with 80,000 liters of water under a 120-ton glass pyramid. Es Paradis doesn't need headliners — the club is the show. Founded in 1975 by Pepe Aguirre and architect Lluís Güell, this San Antonio superclub has spent 51 years combining neoclassical architecture with parties found nowhere else on the planet. Roman columns, tropical vegetation, and acoustics designed for the grand format.

Güell — the same visionary who designed Café del Mar — conceived Es Paradis as a temple open to the sky. In 1990, noise restrictions forced the roof to close, and the iconic pyramid that now dominates Sant Antoni's skyline was born. The first Water Party was held in 1995 and hasn't missed a summer since. The club hosts up to 5,000 people across two floors with three dance areas, four VIP zones — including La Luna Privé and Red Room — and ten bars.

The 2026 season kicked off on April 4th with the 51st anniversary opening. Saturdays are for the Water Party — from April 18th to October 17th, water floods the Main Hall around 4:30 AM. On Thursdays, Bubbles keeps the original Foam Party alive. From Monday to Friday, five different brands: You Know The Vibes (urban, Mondays), Ibiza Records (vinyl and classic house, Tuesdays, with Jan & Calvin), Our House (Wednesdays), and Puro Reggaeton (Fridays).

Carrer Salvador Espriu, 2, on the Sant Antoni promenade — a five-minute walk from the West End. Opening hours: 00:00 to 06:30, April to October. Minimum age: 18 years with ID. Smart dress code: no swim shorts, flip-flops, or tank tops. Entry from €20 online, up to €45 at the door depending on the event.

For the Water Party, wear clothes you don't mind getting wet and keep your phone in a waterproof bag — the dance floor really does flood. Buy your ticket in advance online: door prices increase by €10 to €15. If you arrive early, head up to La Galería to see the Main Hall from above before it gets crowded. And a detail: when the pyramid opens at dawn, you'll understand why Güell called it Paradís.
