FAQ
It is located on the sand of Es Cavallet beach, in the natural park of Ses Salines (Sant Josep), on the southern tip of Ibiza next to the airport. It is situated at the beginning of the beach, near the parking lot; it should not be confused with Cap des Falcó or Playa d'en Bossa, which are different coves in the same area.
It is a seasonal venue: it usually opens from late April to mid-October, approximately from 10:00 to 21:00, with kitchen service at noon and in the afternoon. It remains closed in winter. It is advisable to confirm the 2026 opening dates and make reservations during the busiest months.
There is no minimum age: it is a family-friendly restaurant and beach club, not a nightclub. In fact, it has a children's area called 'Little Chiringuito', so it is a comfortable destination to go with kids as well as with groups or couples.
There is no formal dress code: the style is beachy, relaxed but well-kept. Swimsuits and sarongs are fine for the sunbed area; for dining at a table, smart beachwear is sufficient. Keep in mind that you reach the venue by walking on the sand, so comfortable footwear is the most practical.
No tickets are sold: access to Es Cavallet beach is free and El Chiringuito does not charge an entry fee. It is common to book a restaurant table or sunbed directly with the venue (by phone or email). If there are private events with limited capacity, they can be managed at partyisla.com when available.
The most convenient way is by taxi or car: from the airport, you cross Ses Salines park in just a few minutes, and from Ibiza town it is about 20 minutes. It is also very close to Playa d'en Bossa. There is a beach parking lot with valet service and a 700-meter walk from the parking lot to the shore.
The one in Ibiza is the original, opened at Es Cavallet in 2009 by Jonathan Thorogood and Olivia Fleury. The name has since been taken to other destinations, but the Ibiza location is the flagship and maintains its own identity, so it is important not to confuse it with franchises or homonymous venues in other cities.
The menu features Mediterranean market cuisine with Spanish, French, and Italian influences, designed for sharing by the sea. The music is provided by resident DJs with an ambient and elegant profile that complements the food and sunset: it is not a dance club, but a relaxed soundtrack for the entire day.
