At Carrer Vara de Rey 40, Sant Antoni de Portmany, in the Caló des Moro / Sunset Strip area — on the rocks by the sea, in the northwest part of Sant Antoni Bay. Café del Mar is just a few meters away, on the same sunset promenade.
Open daily from 10:00 to 03:00 during peak season (mid-April to October). Breakfast from 10:00, lunch, sunset with DJ (sunset time varies: ~21:50 in June, ~18:30 by late October), dinner, and closing at 03:00. The 2026 season opened on April 17.
No official minimum age during daytime and restaurant hours. For nighttime DJ sessions, minors must be accompanied by adults. No ID is requested at the door as it is a bar (not a club).
No strict dress code. During the day, beachwear and swimsuits with an outer layer (kaftan, shirt, denim shorts) are accepted. At night, especially during the BBC Radio 1 Weekend in August, the atmosphere becomes more polished: most guests dress casually elegant with shirts, dresses, or long pants.
There is no entry fee to the bar — terrace access is free. Tables with sea views require advance booking at cafemamboibiza.com with a minimum spend (between €80 and €220 depending on the area and time, according to Ibiza Spotlight and Magic-Ibiza). From Ibiza Town, take bus L3 from Recinto Ferial to Sant Antoni in about 28 minutes for €4, or a taxi for €32 in 25 minutes. From Cala de Bou, it’s a 15-minute walk along the promenade. From San Antonio town center, it’s a five-minute walk. The Disco Bus L11 operates at night in August during the BBC Radio 1 Weekend.
It’s the BBC Radio 1 live broadcast weekend from the bar’s terrace, held every August since 1995. The first edition was hosted by Pete Tong with Roger Sanchez. The full lineup is announced in late July, and the event is one of the highlights of the international electronic music season, according to Defected and BBC Radio 1.
Yes, with three services: breakfast (English fry-ups, eggs), lunch (salads, poke bowls, burgers, wraps) and dinner (meats, seafood, sharing platters). The Mambo Brothers — Christian and Alan Anadón, sons of founder Javier — manage the group and also DJ at the venue on a weekly residency.
