Brisa Marina Port de Pollença

About
An old fisherman's house renovated in 2013 —although it was already referenced in travel forums since 2011— forms Brisa Marina, a restaurant and event space on the promenade of Port de Pollença. The proposal is Mediterranean gastronomy in a tranquil port environment, far from the noise of Mallorca's large tourist centers. When there is music, the style is relaxed and functions as an accompaniment to the culinary experience, not as an independent protagonist.
The architectural design is the most unique feature of the space. The natural porch has a double skin of wooden slats that filters sunlight and frames the views of Port de Pollença from the interior. In the inner courtyard, there is a green area with a water fountain and a grey mortar staircase connecting the two levels of the building. The outdoor terraces allow for al fresco dining with the promenade as a backdrop. The entire design prioritizes natural ventilation and integration with the maritime landscape.
Address: Passeig Saralegui, 64, on the promenade of Port de Pollença. From the center of Pollença, it's about a 15-minute drive or taxi ride; there is also a bus line connecting the town with the port during daytime hours. Open Monday to Tuesday and Thursday to Sunday, from 9:00 to 23:00; closed on Wednesdays. Hours are reduced in low season, with annual closure from November 2nd until the following spring. Google Rating: 4.4 out of 5 based on 1,247 reviews.
The rhythm of the place follows the seasonal cycle of the port: in summer, the restaurant extends its hours for dinners that prolong the stay until closing, and the space hosts private celebrations and corporate events that take advantage of the modular configuration between the covered interior and the outdoor porch. High season, from June to September, concentrates the highest demand for tables with views of the promenade.
