Blue Marlin Ibiza

Ibiza South, Ibiza

FAQ

At Cala Jondal, a secret cove on the southern coast of Ibiza in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia. It is only accessible via a single road that ends at the beach itself; it is closer to the airport (ten minutes) than to Ibiza Town. The cove combines a pebble beach, turquoise waters, and two neighboring restaurants (Tropicana and Yemanjá).

Open daily during the season (approximately from April 25 to early October) from 10:00 to 00:00, extending to 02:00 on nights with a headline DJ or special event. The kitchen serves until around 23:30. It remains closed outside the season.

During the day, Blue Marlin is family-friendly and minors are allowed with adults (no access to areas with alcohol consumption). At nighttime events, starting at sunset, access is restricted to 18+ with ID or passport. The 2026 terms confirm this time cutoff at the door check.

Chic beach attire during the day (sarong, swimsuit, hat, espadrilles, linen dresses) and smart resort after sunset — swap flip-flops and tank tops for a shirt, light pants, or a cocktail dress. For VIP tables, the code becomes stricter: the door staff actively rejects wet swimwear and sports shorts at night.

The best option is by taxi: ten minutes from the airport (around 18 EUR), twenty-five minutes from Playa d'en Bossa (around 28 EUR), twenty minutes from Ibiza Town (around 20 EUR), and about thirty-five minutes from San Antonio (35+ EUR). There is no direct bus to Cala Jondal — the single road limits public transport. If you arrive by yacht, there is a water taxi service from the anchor to the beach.

Kling & Freitag SPECTRA 212 as the main system on the dance floor, with NOMOS LT monitors for DJs and additional SPECTRA 212 units in the Owners/VIP area. It is a German line-array precision setup, unusual on an island where Funktion-One rigs dominate. AV Magazine published a technical feature about this setup in 2018.

It has a full restaurant serving Mediterranean-Asian cuisine and a signature sushi & raw bar since opening. The kitchen serves from opening at 10:00 until around 23:30 (later during events). Walk-in service is available in the bar area; sea-view tables require a reservation with a minimum spend. The menu features red tuna sashimi, oysters, ceviches, and rice dishes.
