About
In Cala Nova, between centennial pines and golden sand, Atzaró Beach has been advocating since 2004 that music doesn't have to impose itself. The Guasch family founded this space in Santa Eulalia with a clear proposal: Balearic rhythms and Mediterranean melodies rather than dance floor intensity. DJ Harvey, Horse Meat Disco, and Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy have played here, all linked to disco and selective house aesthetics that perfectly fit the venue's atmosphere. It is not a superclub nor does it aspire to be one.
The venue extends directly onto the sand, with sea access at all times. There are hammocks, Balinese beds, and grass areas under the pines; the sea breeze mixes with the sound without either winning the battle. The architecture blends wooden structures and white fabrics that generate shade over the tables. There is no conventional dance floor: the music sets the mood without imposing, and it is possible to maintain a conversation at any point in the space. The restaurant occupies a central position with direct views of the water; the cocktail bar operates by the shore throughout opening hours.
Elegant beachwear: swimwear is acceptable in the hammock areas, but not in the restaurant during lunch. It is advisable to book in advance in July and August to guarantee a spot, as Cala Nova beach attracts many people in summer. Hours are from 11:00 to 20:00 in high season, from May to October. By taxi from Ibiza town it's 20 minutes; the L13 or L23 bus from Santa Eulalia station also serves, with a stop 10 minutes' walk away. Google rating: 4.3 stars from 1,564 reviews.
Sundays host disco and soul music events with guest selectors; Wednesdays feature more intimate live jazz and funk formats. The season is concentrated exclusively in the summer months, with a total closure from November to April. If you like an atmosphere without crowds, weekdays in the first half of June are the quietest.
