RÜFÜS DU SOL debut their four-Tuesday residency at Pacha. The Australian trio has turned their melodic house and emotive techno formula into one of the most solid live acts of the last decade. Their DJ sets keep the same tension as their albums, but with more freedom to stretch the grooves and work the floor in sections. The night is big: seven hours of open bar, packed dancefloor from opening, energy rising in waves until the sunrise finale. Pacha’s main room, with its expanded traditional Ibizan house architecture, acts as a resonance chamber for this kind of sound. It’s the second date of the July series. Door 23:00, closing 06:00.
